A computer-generated movie is a animated movie which means to give life to something.
These movies are made first with making the characters. First it begins as it always has
with pencil and paper.Once they have drawn the character its the animators job to
model the character in 3D on the computer. The art department sumits hundreds of
character sketches based on the discussions with the writers and the director.
Sometimes the art department will create the 3-D model first then scan it
onto the computer to create a wrieframe model.
Software they use to make the movies:
To make a animated movie you need to use a software. Some software they
use are....3ds Max,Blender,LightWave 3D,Maya and Softimage XSI is
used to make computer-generated imagery for movies. These are also
some softwares they use to make 3D movies. Recent availability of
CGI software and increased computer speeds allowed individual artist.
